Deep Waters

A six week course for mental health practitioners who want to explore breathwork as a gateway to reignite their own passion and serve their clients more authentically.

The world is intense right now - especially if you work honestly and authentically with clients. If you're finding yourself isolated, burned out, doubting your skills  -- or even therapy itself, it might be time to meet yourself and your clients in a new way.

Enter: Breathwork.

Conscious-Connected Breath can rapidly shift deeply held patterns in the limbic system and re-wire unconscious patterning.

Unresolved emotional states from early life, often acquired in our pre-cognitive stage of development, lead to patterns of maladaptive thoughts and behaviors that are largely unconscious, but are clearly reflected in the situations of our life where were struggling.

This unconscious content isn’t accessible through the neo-cortex "conscious brain -- but instead must be accessed through implicit and physiologically stored content, from the limbic part of the brain. This is referred to as an “altered state”. Conscious-connected breath facilitates this altered state, thereby making the wealth of this unconscious material available for acknowledgement and resolution.

Ocean

I call this: Revelation.

Revelation: illuminating previously stored/repressed emotional states from the unconscious, giving us the great relieving sensation that “all of a sudden our maladaptive patterns make sense,” we can forgive ourselves and let the behavior/thought/belief go. We just don’t need them anymore.

Revelation is a profound, liberating insight that often accompanies emotional acknowledgement and release.

If there is a toxin in the soil of our plant, we can’t see the toxin, invisible and underground, but we can clearly see the manifestation of it in the leaves of the plant.  Clipping, pruning and spraying the leaves will have little effect on the health of the plant and the underlying condition will continue to prevent thriving.

Conscious-Connected Breathwork is a tool that allows us to root out the toxins in the soil, transform and releasing the toxin, and leaving behind a cleared space for new life to grow and thrive.

Shore
But before you can share this profound experience with your clients, you need to have it for yourself.

About Kate

Kate Becker is a professional breathworker and breathwork trainer.

With nearly twenty years of personal breathwork experience, twelve years of training, and eight years leading trainings: I know what breathwork can do.

I am an active member of the International Breathwork Foundation, and am a faculty member at Transformations which was founded by Therapeutic Breathwork pioneer Jim Morningstar, PhD.

But my true qualification is in my deep, intimate connection with my own breathwork practice, and my commitment to building the capacity of all humans to connect to their sacred breath.
Over the past six years, I have built a family of breathers and breathworkers alike, who gather daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly to reconnect to themselves through conscious connected breath.

I have witnessed, experienced, and facilitated the profound, and sometimes instantaneous healing that is available through Conscious Connected Breathwork. I am humbled to offer this work to you, in service of the essential work you are doing in the world.

Deep Waters

A six-week breathwork training for mental health professionals

This six week course will introduce you to the Conscious Connected Breath technique, exploring its somatic, biological, spiritual, and community impacts.

Each week, you'll receive an expert lecture from Kate Becker about an aspect of the breath, and its mechanisms of action. There will be ample space for discussion, connection with your colleagues about this work, and group learning. Finally, you will be guided through your own breathwork sessions every week for six weeks.

At the end of Deep Waters, you can expect a feeling of rich re-connection to yourself and the essence of your work as a practitioner. You will have specific breath-related interventions to share with your clients, giving them an opportunity to shift their current state, break harmful mental and behavioral cycles, and access a deeper level of healing.

A note: you will not be a certified breathworker at the end of Deep Waters. However, if you are currently in breathwork training, Deep Waters counts as 18 hours towards your advanced breathwork training.
